New Exhibit! The Rotary Club of Calgary South Courtroom/Theatre

Thursday, September 12th, 2019

It really does take a village! Today we celebrated the positive impact that community can make when working together, with the grand opening of our museum’s newest exhibit and experience – the Rotary Club of Calgary South Courtroom/Theatre.

With the help of grade six students from Holy Trinity School, members of the Calgary Police Service, and the Calgary Police Foundation, we welcomed our newest partner – the Rotary Club of Calgary South, the people who made this exhibit possible.

Visitors will can now dive deeper into Calgary’s rich policing history and community safety issues by hearing incredible current and historical stories told through documentary films and presentations.

Additionally, this room transforms into an interactive court room experience, that will educate visiting grade six students about the current laws and justice systems and its role in contributing to a fairer society.

A safe city is the result of working together and includes providing our children with the knowledge and tools they need to stay safe and avoid a life of crime.

We are incredibly grateful for the contribution made by the Rotary Club of Calgary South and look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts in supporting a safe Calgary.

We all depend on a safe city. Let’s work together.
