The Nexen Volunteer Program
YouthLink Calgary is proud to partner with Nexen to offer the Nexon Volunteer Program. This extensive, one-of-a-kind program offers an opportunity for volunteers to build knowledge in policing, crime prevention and Calgary history as well as build skills in interpretation, customer service, museum operations and program delivery. Our volunteers are invaluable in helping to deliver a wide array of educational experiences to Calgary’s youth, families, and other public visitors.

The Value of Our Volunteers
The time and support provided by our volunteers, allows our organization to reach new levels of success in carrying out our mission and vision.
Volunteers deliver important information to visitors on our public days, which educates citizens on crime-related issues and helps break down stereotypes about police. Their dedicated time allows us to offer these experiences at no cost to visitors, which provides an all-inclusive learning opportunity for citizens across Calgary.
The Nexen Volunteer program also assists us in running money-generating events, which is an integral component to our organization’s sustainable future. We require their support in order to run evening events, special donor events, casinos, paid for experiences, charity walks and runs, and more.
