YouthLink Calgary’s Community of Prevention (YCCOP)

An Inter-Agency Crime Prevention Initiative

YCCOP is an inter-agency collaboration between:

  • YouthLink Calgary
  • The Calgary Police Service
  • City-wide social agencies

Program Highlights

  • YCCOP offers a collaborative opportunity, designed to enhance the efforts of YouthLink Calgary, the Calgary Police Service and your team of support workers.
  • Each program consists of two Safe For Life presentations (facilitated by a YouthLink Calgary Educator) and a chance to explore the Police Museum to learn about the role police and citizens play in community safety.
  • The program is also accompanied by an in-uniform Calgary Police Officer, which provides an opportunity to build trust in police and to break down stereotypes.
