THE ROGUES’ GALLERY
Introducing our new historical exhibit, The Rogues’ Gallery to our what’s on programming!
Take a walk back in time with this digitally immersive exhibit to see how criminal identification, policing, and society have changed in the last century.
This exhibit was inspired by the Calgary No. 1 Mugshot book, which brought the Calgary Police into the modern age of criminal identification in 1913. The mugshot book contains over 2,700 mugshots, 80 of which we have on display in the Rogues’ Gallery.
With stories of the past told through mugshots, artifacts, and historical records, this exhibit is one you won’t want to miss!
The Rogues’ Gallery would not be possible without the financial support of the Alberta Museums Association‘s institutional grant funding stream. Their funding supported the crucial Content Development position on our team, which was essential to creating this exhibit.
