Summer 2023 Group Bookings Now Open!

  • Availability: Free exploration visits to the centre are only available during our public summer hours – Tuesdays through Saturdays 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We do not offer any bookings outside of our listed public hours.
  • What to Expect from Your Experience: A self-guided exploration of the centre. There will also be the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt and other activities.
  • Length of Visit: Maximum 1.5 hours.
  • Admission: Visits to YouthLink are free, but we strongly recommend a donation of $5.00 per participant. Donations can be made at the time of your booking or upon your arrival at YouthLink. We accept cash, card, or cheque. **Cheques must be made out to YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre.
  • Maximum Group Size: 25 participants (for groups under 18 this does not include required chaperones as a part of the 25). If your group is larger than 25 participants, we recommend rotating groups through the centre with a maximum of 25 participants each.
  • Supervision Ratios: We require 1 adult supervisor for every 5 youth participants. Please remain in small (5-10 people), adult-supervised groups while in the museum space.
  • Age of Participants: All members of the group must be ages 6+ to visit – we are unable to accommodate groups with youth younger than 6. Due to the sensitive content in the museum, we recommend that children younger than 6 attend the museum with a parent or guardian.
  • Lunch or Break Room Availability: Due to spacing limitations and other programming in the museum space, we are unable to offer any rooms for storage, lunch, snacks, or breaks.
  • Food and Drink: YouthLink does not allow open food or drink in the museum space. Any food or drink must be stored in backpacks or bags. We do not have any food or drink available for purchase on the premises.
  • Noise Level: We are a working museum. Please keep noise to a minimum as sound travels easily in our space. Please pay special attention to where programs are occurring.
  • Accommodating Your Visit: YouthLink strives to be accessible to all community members; however, due to capacity restrictions and other programming, there may be limits on large group bookings during certain periods. If we are unable to accommodate your first choice of visit date and time, we will reach out to find an alternate date or time for your group to visit.
  • School Year Availability (September to June): Free exploration visits to the centre are only available during our public hours – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Fridays, and Saturdays. We do not offer any evening bookings at this time.
  • Summer Availability (July and August): Free exploration visits to the centre are only available during our public summer hours – Tuesdays through Saturdays 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We do not offer any bookings outside of our listed public hours.
