Are you and your family cyber safe?

The internet and social media are invaluable tools for connection, education, and information. However, with limited regulation, there’s potential for privacy breaches and various criminal activities. YouthLink Calgary is committed to equipping Calgarians with the necessary tools to ensure their cyber safety.

About the Cyber Safe presentation

Our presentation aims to empower youth (age 12+), adults, and seniors with insights into the potential risks encountered online or through smart devices. Participants will learn effective strategies for safeguarding personal information and staying safe while they are using the internet.

We emphasize the importance of understanding online risks for all ages and providing tools for protection and responsible internet usage.

These presentations are a collaborative initiative with our partner: the Calgary Police Youth Foundation, who support us in providing educational opportunities to keep our kids and community safe.
