Our keynote speaker is a police officer from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit, bringing firsthand expertise to the conversation. Through an age-appropriate yet honest dialogue with youth, they’ll share real cases from Calgary and across Canada, highlighting both peer-to-peer and adult investigations. Students will gain insight into the dangers of child luring, the risks of sharing intimate images, and the harsh realities of sextortion. The session will also cover key laws, safety strategies, and practical tools to help youth make informed, empowered choices in their online lives.
